From the parquet of the PalaLaganà at Montepiselli, Messina step up to Serie A2 Élite for the first time — the level immediately below Serie A in Italian futsal.
The squad has been rebuilt around that step. International experience arrived over the summer in Luca Tarenzi, Gabriel Darici, Lucas Henz Oechsler, Luis López García and Vinicius Lanza Teixeira, alongside a group of the club's own graduates who came through the Under 19 and into a first team that went up.
